Solar Panels for Electricity dominance of 40% in 2030

ENERGY, FIND TEKNO - In 2030, 40% of electricity will be generated from renewables, nearly double that of the current market share.

Based Renewable Energy Agency, this expansion will occur akaibat the cheapening of the technology fund allocation.

"We hope that by getting the low cost of the technology, in 2030, 40% of global electrical system will be dominated by renewable energy. This is a tremendous growth, "said Adnan Amin Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency, as quoted by Bloomberg, Monday, 30/05/2016.

The challenge facing renewable energy is capturing the crude oil market in the sector of heating, cooling and transport.

"For the power sector concerned, posrsi oil has very little in the power generation sector worldwide, about 5%," he said.

Electricity derived from the sun's heat increases with decreasing the price required for solar power generation.

Dubai gets contract 200 megawatts of solar power in January 2015 which then recorded the lowest price at US5.85 cents per kilowatt-hour.

Last month, Emirates also received bids for 800 megawatts of solar power at a price of US2.99 cents per hour.

According to Irena, falling oil prices make alternative fuels become less attractive economically.
